A senior HR professional with extensive experience of HR Strategy/Management at executive level, skilled in both employee relations specialist and HR generalist capacities. Used to operating at strategic and tactical levels, in partnership with senior line managers. Extensive experience of all aspects of human resource management, including development & training, in blue chip companies as well as managing complex employee relations issues against the backdrop of transformational change, including mergers, acquisitions, disposals and large-scale outsourcing, over a substantial period. An HR professional with 13 years experience across the full range of HR activities including employee relations, reward and policy development. Has managed major change programmes covering business start-ups, integration projects, disposals and merger & acquisitions. Contributed to HR strategy and plans on a pan European basis in a dynamic trading business including recruitment across international borders. Extensive expertise in policy development backed by sound knowledge of employment law and research skills. Commercially focused team player with a proactive approach to problem solving grounded in delivering practical outcomes for the business. Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation, coaching and counselling backed by a certificate in counselling skills.

 

Brian EnglandBrian England, FCIPD
Brian has nearly 25 years HR management experience. This ranges from providing operational HR support to providing compensation and benefits, policy development and employee relations specialist support. Experience of introducing two major HR information systems. Has managed major change management programmes involving mergers and acquisitions and internal re-organisations. Has managed large groups of HR staff to provide HR business partnership with managers to cover the whole range of HR activity from recruiting new staff to dealing with difficult staffing issues to processing termination arrangements. Has developed and implemented HR strategy and HR measurement.
